How can we qualify the role of nature in everyday life? Can it transcend class, age, gender or social background? Invisible Landscapes is an inter-generational exploration of nature, social landscape and custodianship, following historical paths between Dunbar and Helensburgh. A slow cinematic journey across Scotland that never features on any postcard. 'Invisible Landscape' is a Room 8 Studio production in partnership with Scottish Natural Heritage and Falkirk Council.

How do we jointly construct and maintain the webs of ordinary support that make life ‘liveable’; and what is it that can make the giving and receiving of such support difficult? How do we understand everyday help? As acts of kindness? As something to be ‘paid back’ or reciprocated? What do people think and feel about such interactions with those close to them and with others? These questions lie at the heart of the film project “Flowers & Floorboards”. Portrait of legendary choreographers Royston Maldoom OBE and Tamara McLorg. Royston and Tamara have forged international reputations working with marginalised and disadvantaged people in areas such as Ethiopia, Peru, Palestine, and across Europe. For the first time in 30 years they are working together again on a large scale community dance project as part of the Commonwealth Games Cultural programme and “Get Scotland Dancing” activities.
